Physical Therapist Job in Las Cruces, NM
Atrium Physical Therapy is hiring for a full-time Physical Therapist job in Las Cruces, NM, and we’re looking for a therapist who enjoys treating people, solving clinical problems and building genuine relationships with patients. Atrium is an established outpatient physical therapy practice. We believe excellent physical therapy starts with connecting with people, understanding what matters to them, and providing individualized care that helps them move better, feel better, and return to the activities they enjoy. If that is how you want to practice, we would like to hear from you.
Clinical Judgment, Not a Single Treatment Protocol
As an established independent practice, we care for a diverse patient population, and our emphasis is on individualized care and real patient connection. You’ll have the professional freedom to evaluate each patient, develop an appropriate plan of care, and use your clinical judgment, rather than being required to follow a single treatment protocol. The therapist we’re looking for brings strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care, and the interpersonal skills to build real rapport with patients.
That freedom comes with responsibility, and we value the clinical reasoning and professionalism it takes to use it well. Your days will include evaluating and assessing patients referred for physical therapy, building plans of care around each person’s needs and goals, monitoring progress, and modifying treatment as that progress changes. You’ll also provide education to patients and their caregivers along the way. Documentation matters too: you’ll complete evaluations, progress notes and re-evaluations accurately and on time, and take part in clinic quality, safety and professional-development activities.
Learning Alongside a Collaborative Team
You’ll work alongside experienced PTs, PTAs and support staff in a collaborative environment where team members share ideas, learn from one another and work together toward the best possible outcomes for our patients. We value a workplace where therapists can keep learning from one another while treating each patient according to that individual’s needs.
Collaboration is part of the daily work here. You’ll coordinate with clinical support and front-office staff on scheduling, authorization and continuity of care, and you’ll supervise PTAs and support staff when appropriate. New graduates are welcome, as are experienced therapists who want a practice where they can continue to develop professionally while maintaining clinical autonomy. Initiative, adaptability and a willingness to learn and share knowledge go a long way here. On the practical side, Atrium pays 70% of the employee premium for health, dental and vision insurance, and offers employer-paid short-term disability and life insurance, a SIMPLE IRA with a 3% employer match, and paid time off.
